Los Angeles Dodgers center fielder Andy Pages suffered a fractured left hand after being hit by a pitch during Friday's game against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Pages was struck by a 100.2-mph fastball from Pirates right-hander Bubba Chandler in the third inning, per True Blue LA. He exited the game early.
Manager Dave Roberts revealed postgame that Pages had sustained a fractured hand. ESPN reported that Roberts said the injury is "not season-ending" and he expects Pages to return this season. Multiple outlets, including MLB Trade Rumors and True Blue LA, reported the expected recovery timetable is 4-5 weeks, with that estimate holding whether or not Pages requires surgery.
