1. Acceptance

By accessing BenchScout (the "Service") you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

BenchScout provides sports scores, statistics, play-by-play data, news links, and historical sports data, served from BenchScout's own data archive. The Service is provided for informational and entertainment purposes only.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when registering. We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms.

4. User content

You retain ownership of comments and other content you post, and grant BenchScout a non-exclusive license to display it within the Service. You may not post content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, or spam. We may remove content that violates these rules.

5. No betting advice

Odds and betting information shown on the Service are informational only and do not constitute advice or an inducement to gamble. BenchScout is not a sportsbook and does not accept wagers. If you choose to gamble, you must comply with the laws of your jurisdiction and be of legal age. If you or someone you know has a gambling problem, call 1-800-GAMBLER.

6. Accuracy & availability

Data is ingested from third-party feeds and may contain errors or delays. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or uninterrupted availability.

7. Intellectual property

Team names, logos, and marks are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification only. BenchScout is not affiliated with or endorsed by MLB, the NHL, the NBA, the NFL, ESPN, or any team or league. See Data & Attribution.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BenchScout shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.

9. Changes

We may update these terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above.
