Bauers' heroics came after Luis Lara made a crucial defensive play in the top of the 10th. Per ESPN, Lara made a "spectacular run-saving catch" to preserve the tie before Bauers' walk-off single. Sportsnet's video coverage showed Lara also robbed Brooks Lee of a hit to end the sixth inning.
Jackson Chourio and Bauers both homered for Milwaukee, while Jacob Misiorowski struck out nine over six innings, according to highlight coverage from Sportsnet. The game went to extras after the teams remained deadlocked through nine innings.
