The Buffalo Bills have agreed to terms with free agent defensive lineman Greg Gaines, per ESPN's Jeremy Fowler. Gaines, 30, worked out for the Bills on Tuesday before signing.
Gaines was most recently with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and entered the NFL as a fourth-round pick of the Los Angeles Rams in 2019. He will serve as a rotational piece behind Walker, the Bills' starting nose tackle.
Multiple outlets characterized the signing as addressing a need for veteran depth on Buffalo's defensive line, particularly in a scheme that features three-man fronts.
