The Toronto Blue Jays have selected the contract of outfielder Rudy Martin Jr. from Triple-A Buffalo, per ESPN. The move marks Martin's MLB debut, though he was called up once earlier this season without appearing in a game.

Martin, 30, was drafted by the Royals in the 25th round of the 2014 draft. The Blue Jays acquired him off waivers from Kansas City in July. Toronto has a full 40-man roster and will need to make a corresponding transaction to clear a spot for Martin on the active roster.
