New York Jets running back Breece Hall is expected to miss two to three weeks after suffering a groin injury in practice Monday, but should be ready for the regular-season opener, Jets head coach Aaron Glenn told reporters Tuesday.

CBS Sports characterized the injury as minor. ESPN reported Glenn said Hall is expected to be "ready for the regular season," while other outlets cited Glenn's expectation that Hall will be ready for Week 1. The Jets open their season against the Titans, per one report.

Hall, 25, was a two-time All-American and two-time Big 12 player of the year out of Iowa State.
