The Cleveland Browns are waiving tight end Dae'Quan Wright, who has an agreement in place to join LSU for the 2026 season if he clears waivers, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter, citing agents Drew Rosenhaus and Kyle Lincoln.

Wright, 22, signed NFL training camp deals with both the Saints and Browns. Per ESPN, he would become the first player to transition from an NFL team back to college football. Sportsnet reports Wright intends to join LSU after being waived by Cleveland.

Wright began his college career at Virginia Tech before transferring to Ole Miss, per NFL Trade Rumors.
