Hield, who was traded from Atlanta to Charlotte earlier this week, is heading to his second team in as many days. The veteran shooting guard was eligible to be moved again immediately because his salary was not being aggregated in the previous deal, per ESPN's reporting. Dillingham, the No. 8 overall pick in the 2024 draft, is on to his third team after the trade, per CBS Sports.
The move represents a late-offseason adjustment for the Bulls as the regular season approaches. Chicago adds an established three-point shooter, while Charlotte moves on from Hield just days after acquiring him and takes a flier on the young prospect.
