The Los Angeles Clippers and Toronto Raptors have agreed to complete a blockbuster trade that will send Kawhi Leonard back to the Raptors, per ESPN. The deal will bring Brandon Ingram and Gradey Dick to Los Angeles along with a handful of draft assets, according to Shams Charania of ESPN.
The two teams are now working to schedule the trade call to finalize the transaction. Yahoo Sports reported that the Raptors originally agreed to a trade for Leonard in June, when the Clippers did not want to sign the 35-year-old to a contract extension. Yahoo Sports also reported that the trade will be completed after the NBA punishes the Clippers for breaking salary cap rules, though the other outlets did not specify details about the league's disciplinary action.
