The Dallas Cowboys will be without starting linebacker DeMarvion Overshown and safety Malik Hooker for upcoming games due to injuries sustained in Sunday's loss to the New York Giants, head coach Brian Schottenheimer said Monday.

Overshown suffered a hamstring injury, while Hooker sustained an arm injury. ESPN reported the pair will likely miss the next two games. Pro Football Talk indicated both players could miss one to two weeks, though the exact timeline remains unclear—Yahoo Sports reported that Hooker is consulting with a specialist about his return.

The injuries represent a significant loss for Dallas's defense, removing two key contributors from the lineup at linebacker and safety.
