The Dodgers and Brewers begin the National League Championship Series tonight at 8 p.m. ET on FOX, per multiple outlets. The game marks a rematch of last year's NLCS, which the Dodgers swept. This year's matchup pits the two best regular-season records in the National League: Milwaukee won 103 games to lead all of baseball, while Los Angeles finished with 100 wins and the NL West title.
The Dodgers arrive in Milwaukee riding a three-game winning streak after sweeping the Atlanta Braves in their division series. Los Angeles won Game 2 on Tuesday, Oct. 6 by a 3–1 margin and Game 3 on Wednesday, Oct. 7 by 4–1; the teams split their first two meetings. The Brewers, meanwhile, are on a five-game winning streak of their own after taking two of three from the San Diego Padres. Milwaukee won Game 1 on Sunday, Oct. 4 by 4–3 and Game 3 on Wednesday, Oct. 7 by the same score, with San Diego's 4–3 victory in Game 2 on Tuesday providing the series' only Padres win.
The Dodgers will start Tarik Skubal, their left-handed pitcher who compiled a 12–7 record with a 2.72 ERA across 26 starts and 158⅔ innings in the regular season. Skubal struck out 186 batters. Milwaukee counters with right-hander Jacob Misiorowski, who had an exceptional 2026 season: 16 wins against just 5 losses, a 1.80 ERA across 30 games and 174⅔ innings, and 252 strikeouts. Per Bleed Cubbie Blue, the broadcast will feature announcers Joe Davis and John Smoltz, with Ken Rosenthal and Tom Verducci contributing.
Game 2 is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 12 at Milwaukee. The series then shifts to Los Angeles for Game 3 on Wednesday, Oct. 14.
