Eagles running back Ja'Quinden Jackson was removed from Saturday night's preseason game against the New England Patriots in an ambulance after being injured on the opening kickoff at Gillette Stadium.

Jackson was placed on a stretcher and transported off the field. One account described the collision as looking particularly serious initially, with Jackson lying motionless on the field.

The Eagles provided an update on Jackson's condition, announcing per multiple outlets that he has "full movement and strength" in all extremities and is being taken to a local hospital for further evaluation. Jackson is in training camp with Philadelphia competing for a spot on the 53-man roster or practice squad.
