The Falcons have signed defensive tackle Gervon Dexter to a four-year extension worth $78 million, according to ESPN and multiple other outlets. Per his agents Drew and Jason Rosenhaus, the deal includes $46.5 million guaranteed. The young defensive tackle has made a good impression on Atlanta in his first three games with the team.
The Falcons acquired Dexter from the Bears in August, and finalized this extension roughly one month later. The rapid timeline means Atlanta has committed to Dexter as part of its core defensive line going forward.
