The Jacksonville Jaguars have acquired quarterback Quinn Ewers from the Miami Dolphins in a trade announced Saturday. ESPN reported that Jacksonville sent a sixth-round pick in the 2028 NFL Draft to Miami to acquire the 23-year-old.
Ewers, who played in four games last season, completed 66.3 percent of his passes, according to ESPN. The Jaguars are adding him to their quarterback room behind starter Trevor Lawrence, per reporting from Yahoo Sports.
CBS Sports reported that the deal includes a swap of Day 3 selections in the 2028 NFL Draft, providing additional detail beyond the sixth-round pick confirmed by ESPN.
