Jeremy Sochan has agreed to a one-year contract with the Portland Trail Blazers, according to ESPN's Shams Charania, citing agent Deirunas Visockas. The Trail Blazers confirmed the deal in a press release on August 2.
Sochan's tenure with the New York Knicks has ended. According to Posting and Toasting, the forward appeared in only 16 regular season games after joining the Knicks midway through last season. Yahoo Sports reports he will compete for a roster spot with Portland.
