Judge Marc Hammer denied a motion by the victim to permanently seal evidence in the battery case involving Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs, according to reporting on Thursday.
The evidence, which includes a surveillance video from inside Jacobs' garage, had previously been under temporary seal at Jacobs' request, per Acme Packing Company. By denying the victim's request for permanent sealing, the judge's ruling means the NFL may now be able to review the video from the May 23 incident at Jacobs' home in Green Bay, as Yahoo Sports noted.
According to reporting citing ESPN, any future requests to access the records will be handled by the local police department in Green Bay.
