Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Keenan Allen is facing a minimum three-game suspension from the NFL following his arrest on drunk-driving charges, per reporting from multiple outlets citing ESPN's Adam Schefter.
According to NFL Trade Rumors, police measured Allen with a .224 blood-alcohol content—three times the legal limit. Schefter indicated the suspension could extend beyond three games given the severity of Allen's intoxication level. Allen was charged with two counts of drunk driving.
Yahoo Sports reported that Allen is expected to still play in Sunday night's game against the Kansas City Chiefs, suggesting the suspension would take effect after that matchup.
