Baylor has signed Ukrainian center Kate Koval, who left LSU after the Tigers brought in a Russian player this summer. According to multiple outlets, Koval was granted a legislative relief waiver by the NCAA to facilitate the transfer.

Per Yahoo Sports, Koval's departure from LSU was announced on August 25, and she entered the transfer portal under the legislative relief waiver. The move comes after LSU coach Kim Mulkey signed a Russian teenager, prompting Koval to exit the program. Koval will now join Mulkey's former team, Baylor, for the upcoming season.
