Francisco Lindor went deep twice Saturday as the Mets routed the Yankees 12-2 in the Subway Series at Yankee Stadium. Per multiple reports, Lindor opened the game with a leadoff homer and added a grand slam in the eighth inning to extend New York's lead.

The Mets' offensive display centered on their power production. According to Yahoo Sports and the Associated Press, New York hit six home runs total, with three coming off Cole. Zac Thornton was effective in a bounce-back start for the Mets, outdueling Cole on the mound, per the reporting.

One Reddit post highlighted a separate home run by Pete Alonso, his 35th of the season, though it does not specify whether this occurred in the same game.
