The Mariners announced that Cal Raleigh and Josh Naylor underwent surgical procedures on October 3. Per MLB Trade Rumors, Raleigh, the team's catcher, had a left shoulder acromioclavicular (AC) debridement procedure, while Naylor underwent triangular fibrocartilage complex (TFCC) repair surgery on his right wrist. Both players are expected to be fully recovered by the start of spring training, per MLB.com.
Yahoo Sports noted that both sluggers were ailing during what the outlet described as a disappointing 2026 season for the Mariners offense.
