Veteran guard Kevin Zeitler has agreed to sign a one-year deal with the Green Bay Packers, per ESPN's Adam Schefter. Zeitler, who has played 14 NFL seasons, is coming out of retirement, according to Yahoo Sports, which noted he is a Wisconsin native and former Badger.
The signing marks the third veteran offensive lineman the Packers have added this week, joining Laken Tomlinson and Mekhi Becton. NFL Trade Rumors reported that Zeitler is expected to enter the starting lineup given Green Bay's recent struggles on the offensive line.
