The Green Bay Packers have signed wide receiver Bo Melton from the practice squad to the 53-man active roster, per multiple reports. Melton had been moved to the practice squad late last week before being called back up.

Per NFL Trade Rumors, the Packers also released long snapper Scott Daly from the practice squad as part of the move. Melton, 27, was originally drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the seventh round of the 2022 NFL Draft out of Rutgers.

One account notes that Melton's status as a vested veteran played a role in the roster transaction, though the specific circumstances remain unclear from available reporting.
