The Padres will be without closer Mason Miller for Game 3 against the Brewers after Major League Baseball approved his placement on the paternity list. Miller was placed on the list shortly before Tuesday night's elimination game, per ESPN. He can be away for a maximum of three days if the series extends.
Wandy Peralta has been activated to replace Miller on the roster. According to Yahoo Sports, Miller finished the regular season tied for third in MLB with 38 saves.
