The 2026 NFL season kicks off Wednesday with a rematch between last year's Super Bowl teams: the Seattle Seahawks, who won Super Bowl LX, and the New England Patriots. Multiple outlets are offering expert predictions and analysis ahead of the game, including picks from Yahoo Sports, ESPN, and others covering odds, spreads, totals, and player props.

The matchup will feature a notable roster storyline for Seattle. Nick Emmanwori, who suffered an ankle injury during Super Bowl week but played in the championship game, has been ruled out for the opening night rematch following July ankle surgery, per Field Gulls. Ty Okada is also out for the Seahawks.

The game is scheduled to kick off Wednesday at 8:20 p.m. ET and 5:20 p.m. PT, according to Sportsnet, with coverage available on multiple platforms including streaming options.
