The Phillies are acquiring left-hander Brooks Raley from the Mets, sending two minor league prospects the other way, per multiple reports Monday. ESPN and other outlets identified the prospects as Luke Gabrysh and John Spikerman. According to MLB Trade Rumors, both players are currently in High-A, with one being an outfielder and the other a pitcher.

The trade comes as the Phillies look to bolster a struggling bullpen, ESPN reported. The deal also requires Philadelphia to open 40-man roster spots for Raley as well as Luis Arraez and Caleb Kilian, who were acquired in a separate transaction with another team, per MLB Trade Rumors.

The trade represents a rare in-division swap between the rival Mets and Phillies during the deadline period.
