Baltimore Ravens cornerback Nate Wiggins was carted off the practice field during Tuesday's training camp after suffering a lower-body injury. The third-year starter went down during a 1-on-1 rep against rookie wide receiver Ja'Kobi Lane, per multiple reports.
Espn's Jamison Hensley reported the injury appeared to involve Wiggins' left leg or knee, noting he couldn't put weight on it when heading into the facility. Ravens coach Jesse Minter did not provide specifics on the severity but said, "I think there's optimism," per ESPN.
If Wiggins misses significant time, Baltimore's cornerback depth could become an issue, per Yahoo Sports.
