The Cincinnati Reds have designated left-handed reliever Sam Moll for assignment, the team announced. Per MLB Trade Rumors, Moll's roster spot will go to right-handed reliever Graham Ashcraft, who is returning from the 60-day injured list.

Moll arrived in Cincinnati before the 2023 season when the Reds acquired him from the Oakland Athletics in exchange for right-handed pitcher Joe Boyle. The designation could mark the end of his tenure with the club.
