The White Sox are acquiring center fielder Brenton Doyle from the Rockies, per Ken Rosenthal and Will Sammon of The Athletic. Right-hander Mason Adams and shortstop Carlos Vielma are heading to Colorado in return, according to MLB.com's Mark Feinsand.
Rosenthal reported that the deal is currently undergoing medical review and has not yet been finalized. Doyle, a two-time Gold Glove winner, brings defensive prowess and a right-handed bat to the White Sox. Adams, per Yahoo Sports, is a Triple-A starter and ascending prospect.
