The Saints are signing linebacker Deion Jones to a one-year deal, per ESPN. According to NFL Trade Rumors, which cited Adam Schefter, Jones will sign the contract on Friday.
Jones, 31, was a second-round pick of the Falcons in 2016 and has now played for all four NFC South teams throughout his career. He most recently played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and was entering the final year of his previous contract before this signing.
The move marks Jones' return to New Orleans, where he previously played before joining the Buccaneers.
