Roki Sasaki was forced to leave Wednesday night's game in the fourth inning due to a blister, landing him on the injured list. Multiple outlets reported the development, though details beyond the blister itself were not available.

The reporting raised the question of whether Shohei Ohtani might be pressed into service as a replacement in the rotation, but none of the available accounts confirmed whether that move will happen or provide additional context on the decision.
