The Seattle Seahawks brought in former Dallas Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs for a workout on Tuesday, per ESPN reporting cited by multiple outlets. Diggs, a second-round pick out of Alabama in 2020, was named All-Pro in his time with the Cowboys and has been a free agent since his release by Green Bay.
The Diggs workout comes as Seattle works through complications with another cornerback addition. The Seahawks agreed to terms with former Detroit Lions cornerback Terrion Arnold, though he has not yet signed. According to reporting, the NFL will place Arnold on the commissioner's exempt list if he does sign, preventing him from practicing or playing immediately. Head coach Mike Macdonald indicated the team is working through unspecified issues before Arnold can take the field.
Diggs has also worked out for Detroit earlier this month, per Pro Football Talk. Arnold was a first-round pick in a previous draft.
