Shanahan addressed the accident publicly for the first time on Saturday during training camp, per multiple outlets. He sustained a concussion and other injuries in the July 14 crash that sidelined him from the start of camp. Shanahan said he plans to coach the 49ers' preseason opener against the Titans and has been increasing his presence at practice as he recovers.
