The Pittsburgh Steelers have ruled out wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. for their Week 2 matchup against the New England Patriots due to a foot injury, per ESPN and multiple other outlets.
Pittman Jr. initially appeared on the injury report Wednesday with the foot injury. According to Pro Football Talk and Yahoo Sports, he caught three passes for 58 yards in his Week 1 debut with the Steelers. Behind the Steel Curtain reported that Pittman Jr. was "officially declared out" for the contest against New England.
The Steelers will be without another starter in their passing game for the Patriots game, ESPN noted.
