Cornerback Terrion Arnold has agreed to terms with the Seattle Seahawks, according to multiple reports. Arnold, a first-round pick by the Detroit Lions, visited several teams before deciding on Seattle, including the Houston Texans, New Orleans Saints, and New York Giants, per ESPN.
One outlet described the Seahawks as the "defending champs," though most reporting did not characterize them this way. Arnold recently tried out for the Seahawks before reaching the agreement.
The signing comes as Arnold faces legal complications. According to Yahoo Sports, Arnold is charged with kidnapping and armed robbery and faces the possibility of life in prison. Pro Football Talk and Yahoo Sports both reported that the NFL must now decide whether to place Arnold on the Commissioner's Exempt List. Arnold had his first court appearance in late June after turning himself in, per NFL Trade Rumors.
