Titans linebacker Cedric Gray has been placed in the NFL's concussion protocol following a UTV accident over the weekend in Tennessee. Gray, the team's leading tackler from last season, sustained a concussion and minor injuries in the incident, per multiple reports.

Gray's status for the Titans' season opener Sunday against the New York Jets is uncertain while he remains in protocol. According to reporting from Davenport, the accident was not caused by reckless driving and no alcohol was involved.
