Manager Dave Roberts told reporters that Treinen's shoulder flared up during his warmup routine. The right-hander will undergo imaging and be placed on the injured list, according to MLB Trade Rumors. ESPN reported the injury is season-ending.
Treinen had just returned to action in early September after missing 62 games due to right elbow inflammation, per Yahoo Sports. His loss removes a veteran arm from the Dodgers' bullpen heading into the postseason.
