The Minnesota Twins reinstated All-Star right-hander Joe Ryan from the 15-day injured list and will have him start Monday afternoon against the Detroit Tigers, opening a three-game series. Ryan missed exactly one month with a left glute strain, per MLB Trade Rumors.

To clear a roster spot, the Twins optioned right-hander Garrett Acton to Triple-A. Ryan earned his second All-Star selection earlier this season before the injury sidelined him.
