Vanderbilt freshman quarterback Jared Curtis will start Saturday against NC State, multiple outlets reported. Curtis, the nation's No. 2 overall prospect in the 2026 recruiting class, is the highest-rated recruit in Vanderbilt history.

Curtis appeared in last weekend's 35-26 win over Delaware, where he accounted for three of the Commodores' four touchdowns. Yahoo Sports reported that this will be his first collegiate start.

Curtis flipped his commitment from Georgia to Vanderbilt ahead of the early signing period in December, per Yahoo Sports.
