The New York Yankees will host the New York Mets on September 11th, with the matchup falling on the 25th anniversary of the September 11th attacks. Carlos Rodón is scheduled to start for the Yankees, while Nolan McLean will take the mound for the Mets, per multiple outlets.

First pitch is set for 7:05 p.m. ET. The game will air on WPIX, with radio coverage available on Audacy's Mets Radio (880 AM) and 92.3 HD2. This marks what one outlet describes as the second round of the Subway Series between the cross-town rivals.

The timing of the game coincides with commemorations taking place across the country marking the 25-year milestone of the 2001 attacks.
