Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson was limited again on the Week 7 injury report, according to Yahoo Sports. Its headline called him "a major question mark" for Sunday's game against the Bengals. CBS Sports' Shanna McCarriston, in her roundup of the league-wide report, listed Jets running back Breece Hall as a non-participant. The feed summaries we have don't give the injuries behind either designation, so we won't guess at them.

The Jackson picture matters because of where Baltimore stands. The Ravens are 4-2 and second in the AFC North, but they have lost their last time out, 13-10 at Cleveland on Oct. 18. That followed wins over Atlanta (30-23) and Tennessee (24-18). Our archive shows Jackson's most recent appearance was Oct. 4, the Tennessee game. That suggests he was not in the lineup for the games at Atlanta or Cleveland, though we can't confirm the reason from the data we hold. Cincy Jungle's Drew Garrison wrote that Baltimore "may have a chance to get their franchise quarterback back on the field," going by Thursday's reporting. That is a hedge, not a confirmation.

Cincy Jungle, which covers the Bengals, was the only outlet with a Cincinnati detail. Garrison described the Bengals as "looking good on the injury front." He noted that safety Kyle Dugger, who had a quad injury, was upgraded. The snippet cuts off before it gives the new status. Dugger has 10 tackles and no sacks this season.

Cincinnati is 3-2 and fourth in the division, and it arrives off a 31-24 win at Miami on Oct. 11. That followed back-to-back losses by three and five points, at Pittsburgh and against Jacksonville. Sunday's game at Baltimore is the next test. Whether Jackson starts will decide what kind of test it is.

In New York, the Jets are 2-4, third in the AFC East and coming off a 26-19 loss at New England. Hall has appeared in three games this season. He has 51 carries for 163 yards, 3.2 per carry, with one rushing touchdown, and 10 catches for 102 yards. His last game in our archive was Sept. 27, so he has missed most of the Jets' season so far. A non-participant listing at this point in the week is not a ruling on Sunday, and the CBS summary doesn't say what the injury is.

The Jets host Miami on Sunday, Oct. 25. They have scored 12, 17 and 19 points in their last three games, so any backfield absence is one they can ill afford. Final designations come out before the weekend, and those will show whether Hall or Jackson is available.
