LSU quarterback Sam Leavitt has been cleared to play against Ole Miss on Saturday after being removed from the SEC's final injury report for the week, per multiple outlets. Leavitt's name appearing on Wednesday's initial availability report prompted 48 hours of monitoring his health status, ESPN reported. The SEC released its third and final injury report Friday evening, at which point Leavitt was no longer listed, indicating he is expected to participate in Oxford. CBS Sports reported simply that "Leavitt will be good to go against the Rebels." And The Valley Shook noted that Leavitt's initial appearance on the report was notable given he had not previously been listed on injury reports during the week.
