Seattle Seahawks running backs Zach Charbonnet and Jadarian Price have no game designations for Monday night's game against the Bears, ESPN reported. That means both are healthy enough to play. Pro Football Talk's Charean Williams, and Yahoo Sports in the same item, said it will be the first game in which the veteran and the rookie are on the field together.
Deadspin added the detail on Charbonnet's injury. Monday will be his first action since the ACL injury he suffered in last postseason, and the site lists the knee as the issue. That detail comes only from Deadspin. ESPN's report covers only the lack of designations and doesn't say whether Charbonnet will be limited. None of the reporting we have gives a snap count or says how the carries will be divided.
Our archive shows Charbonnet's last appearance was the January 17 playoff game against San Francisco, where he had 5 carries for 20 yards. He has no 2026 games. In 2025 he ran 184 times for 730 yards and 12 touchdowns across 16 games, and he added 20 catches.
Price has been in the backfield without him. The rookie has played three games this season, with 28 carries for 119 yards (4.3 per carry) and four catches for 21 yards. He has two fumbles, and Seattle lost both. His last appearance in our data is September 27 at Washington, so the reports also imply he is returning from a stretch off. The sources don't say why he missed the time.
The lead job has belonged to Emanuel Wilson, who has 111 carries for 403 yards and three touchdowns in all seven games. George Holani has 36 carries for 108 yards. Wilson's workload is the one to watch if Charbonnet and Price are both active.
The Seahawks are 4-3, second in the NFC West, and have won one straight after beating Kansas City 20-3 on October 25. Before that they lost 17-14 at Denver and 32-29 to San Francisco. The Bears are 5-2, second in the NFC North, and have won two in a row. They beat New England 30-24 and Atlanta 31-23 after a 31-7 loss at Green Bay. Chicago visits Seattle on Monday, November 2.
