Shohei Ohtani is on track to be activated off the injured list Wednesday, Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said. The four-time MVP has been sidelined since early September due to multiple injuries.
Ohtani was placed on the IL on Sept. 11, backdated to Sept. 8, due to lingering knee and biceps injuries, per Yahoo Sports. Roberts told reporters that Ohtani is "significantly better," per the same outlet. The Dodgers' activation of their star player comes as the team ramps up its preparation for the postseason.
