Green Bay Packers right tackle Zach Bako-Bewele suffered a season-ending injury in Sunday's win over the New York Jets. Per The Athletic's Matt Schneidman, Bako-Bewele fully tore his patellar tendon in the game and was carted off the field with an aircast.
The injury is particularly significant because Bako-Bewele partially tore the same patellar tendon last year, an injury that required surgery. The full tear occurred in the same knee, making this a worst-case scenario for both the player and the team. Bako-Bewele will require a replacement at right tackle for the remainder of the 2026 season.
