Milwaukee Public Schools will close on Friday, Oct. 30, for the Brewers' championship parade. MLB.com led with the closure. A post on r/baseball relayed the district's notice that, because of the scheduled parade and rally, all schools and district offices will be closed. A second r/baseball post linked a WISN report that Friday classes are cancelled, and its poster called it "gonna be a party tomorrow." The summaries we have don't say whether any other district or city offices are affected, and they don't give a parade route or start time.

CBS Sports' Dayn Perry reported that the Parade of Champions will wrap through downtown Milwaukee on Friday, two days after the club won the 2026 World Series. That timing fits our records. Milwaukee's last game in the archive is a 4-1 win at Tampa Bay on Wednesday, Oct. 28, in a game at TB. Only CBS describes the parade as following a title. The school-closure items don't mention the series.

The road to that result was not a clean sweep. The Brewers won 10-1 in Tampa on Monday, Oct. 26. They lost 4-3 on Tuesday, then won 4-1 on Wednesday. They carry a five-game winning streak into the parade. They finished the year 103-59 and first in the NL Central.

One caution on the schedule. Our archive still lists two Tampa Bay games at Milwaukee as not started, one on Friday, Oct. 30 and one on Saturday, Oct. 31. A parade two days after a title would not leave room for a Friday game. We have no reporting on those entries, so treat them as unresolved placeholders until the schedule data updates. The parade timing and the closure come from the outlets above.

What comes next is Friday itself. The schools and district offices are closed, and the Parade of Champions moves through downtown Milwaukee. Start time and route are not in the material we have.
