Will Levis is signing with the New York Jets practice squad, per Tom Pelissero's reporting. The move marks Levis's return to the NFL after being cut by the Tennessee Titans in August.
In a corresponding move, the Jets are releasing QB Bailey Zappe from the practice squad. According to one report, Levis worked out with the Jets before the season started.
Levis, 27, was taken by Tennessee in the second round of the draft and started 21 games for the Titans before missing last season with a shoulder injury, per the reporting available.
