The Buffalo Bills signed wide receiver Greg Dortch to the active roster from the practice squad and placed defensive back Jordan Hancock on injured reserve, per the NFL Transactions wire announced Friday.
Dortch, 28, originally signed with the Jets as an undrafted free agent out of Wake Forest in 2019. Per Buffalo Rumblings, Dortch serves as the Bills' primary punt returner and has now exhausted all of his allotted practice-squad elevations through three games. The moves come ahead of Sunday's Week 3 matchup against the Chargers.
Regarding Hancock, Buffalo Rumblings reported the DB was limited in practice on Wednesday before not practicing, though the reporting does not specify the nature of his injury.
