Milwaukee held its Brewers World Series parade on Friday morning. Yahoo Sports called it a celebration "decades in the making" for a club that, in its words, is a World Series champion for the first time. Per Yahoo's Sean Leahy, the Brewers clinched the franchise's first title on Wednesday against the Rays.

The Associated Press, via Sportsnet, reported that fans were lining the streets early Friday, with thousands expected. ESPN said thousands of Wisconsinites thronged the downtown streets. MLB.com and Yahoo are both running live blogs, but the feed summaries we have don't include a route, start time, speakers or attendance figures. We can't report any of those.

The clearest picture of the crowd comes from MLB's official Reddit posts. One shows Milwaukee "PACKED" from street level to high rises, with kayaks on the river. Another is titled "Bob Uecker watching over the Parade of Champions." Our archive lists Bob Uecker only as a Brave. He hit .150 with three home runs and 20 RBI in 80 games in 1967. The post's description doesn't say how he was represented at the parade. A third post, titled "Pat Murphy has the best parade seat in the house," gives no detail beyond the joke.

The Brewers' record is 103-59, first in the NL Central. Our game log shows the last three games of the Rays series: a 10-1 win Monday, a 4-3 loss Tuesday and a 4-1 win Wednesday, all at Tropicana Field. That Wednesday game matches the date Yahoo gives for the clincher. The same log lists a Rays game at Milwaukee for Friday, Oct. 30, as not started, with another set for Saturday. Nothing in the reporting mentions further games, and those entries conflict with a title already won, so we won't treat them as confirmed.

The feeds don't say what follows the parade. The reporting we have is all about the celebration itself.
