Bensinger posted the nearly hour-and-45-minute interview to YouTube on Monday, per Awful Announcing. The most discussed portion involved a story about Payton that Macdonald apparently did not intend for public release.
Bensinger subsequently expressed regret over releasing the clip, according to Awful Announcing. Payton, for his part, addressed the moment but indicated he was not bothered by it, Awful Announcing reported. Pro Football Talk noted that Macdonald is still learning regarding his media approach despite his early success with the Seahawks.
