Rogers Hornsby

Took a trip out to pay homage to this great ballplayer today. Well worth it. 100 years ago to the day, the St Louis Cardinals defeated the NY Yankees in game 7 of the WS. Claiming their first title. He is buried amungst his many brethren that rode for the Texas Rangers. Rogers not only played for the team, he also managed them that year. submitted by /u/isaacachilles [link] [comments]
